Sometimes you just want bass. Tons of it! And when that’s what you need – you need the SPL15.1. With ability to run in small enclosures as tiny as 1.5 cubic feet this is a 15 that you really can fit into your car! If you want ultimate performance then using a larger enclousre (up to 3.5 cubic feet) will transform the bottom end into something very impressive indeed. It goes without saying that despite its prodigious low end ensemble the SPL15.1 can still rock with the best of them, providing excellent speed and control when partnered with a suitably powerful amplifier. Sharing the same double edge suspension, strong PP cone and Aluminium voice coil, these are a robust and quality piece of tech, designed to produce forceful deep bass. These will definitely bring out your Bassface!

Version History

For the price point we are very happy with the performance of this speaker which outperforms many products costing twice the price, especially on drum transients and bass response. The Version 2 speaker has now been received into the UK warehouse 23/7/18 but will not be shipped until stocks of the Version 1 product have exhausted. Version 2 items are identifiable by the gloss external gift box, rather than the plain brown packing crate of the Version 1 item. The V2 item has been assembled under a strict QC regimen which would normally only be applied to MUCH more expensive speakers. This was as a result of continued patronage of a favoured factory and the differences are immediately noticable in terms of the quantity of adhesive used on the construction of the motors and cones and the accuracy of the placement of that adhesive. Additionally we have noted that the VC is lined to perfection on every sample inspected. It is difficult to "sell" the speaker on the basis of any notable audio performance improvement specifically but we are confident that this approach will yield maximum repeatability when dealing with multi woofer installations or field replacements, as well as the pride of ownership that comes with an item that has been very carefully constructed. Support ended 2019.
