Version History

For the price point we are very happy with the performance of this speaker which outperforms many products costing twice the price, especially on drum transients and bass response. The Version 2 speaker has now been received into the UK warehouse 23/7/18 but will not be shipped until stocks of the Version 1 product have exhausted. Version 2 items are identifiable by the gloss external gift box, rather than the plain brown packing crate of the Version 1 item. The V2 item has been assembled under a strict QC regimen which would normally only be applied to MUCH more expensive speakers. This was as a result of continued patronage of a favoured factory and the differences are immediately noticable in terms of the quantity of adhesive used on the construction of the motors and cones and the accuracy of the placement of that adhesive. Additionally we have noted that the VC is lined to perfection on every sample inspected. It is difficult to "sell" the speaker on the basis of any notable audio performance improvement specifically but we are confident that this approach will yield maximum repeatability when dealing with multi woofer installations or field replacements, as well as the pride of ownership that comes with an item that has been very carefully constructed.
